For the longest time I didn’t know that I have been getting in my own way in terms of realizing my full potential. I believed that putting myself and my passions first would make me selfish, materialistic, and vain. I believed that if I wasn’t sacrificing anything personally, I was looking at my career the complete wrong way. I believed that my job should bleed into my personal life because my job was my life. After all, there’s virtue in putting yourself last voluntarily. But that shouldn’t be the case all the time. Sure, self sacrifice is important but not when it causes you to doubt yourself and not believe in who everyone says you are. And I discovered that I was doing just that. I lost all faith and belief in myself. 

With a lot of self evaluation, I decided to make a change. I decided to look at my career and be ok with putting myself first and allowing myself to live into the potential I’ve been told I have. That’s why real estate was the career path that I chose to dive into. It’s a career that allows me to be creative. It’s a career that allows me to help people because helping people has always been a passion of mine. This career allows me to do so by helping people achieve their goal in buying their new home. And most importantly, this career allows me to unlock my full potential. It allows me to be true to myself while without sacrificing any part of me.
